Vancouver CL
Vancouver would be a good place to shop for a mandolin right now. Though maybe not to sell one. CL has 18 mandolins, not very many really, but they include one each of Sohn, Sawchyn, Brock, Givens, Collings, Laughlin, Gibson, plus an old Washburn bowlback. Nothing here of mine, and I'm not looking either, but wouldn't mind checking one or two of these out if anyone is interested.

Re: Vancouver CL
I have instruments (multiple) for sale on several venues right now. I won't mention where or what, that would violate posting guidelines. I'm not seeing too much in the way of active buying going on anywhere right now.

Re: Vancouver CL
I have two pages of ebay instruments on my watch list and not a single bid on any of them! --very spooky!

Re: Vancouver CL
Barney, I'm finding some comfort in that. I've never had to list any instruments more than twice. I've had people back out of deals, offer some interesting trades, and try to buy at half the value. Even that action is few and far between. I've never seen it like this.

Re: Vancouver CL
It's Summer--people are actually surfing instead of surfing the internet. Ebay always was slower in the Summer but this year it seems extra slow. I have thought for sometime that Summer is probably a good time to buy on ebay and not so good for sellers.
