Default Pre 1970s mandolin...looking for any info possible

I'm a novice to instruments, and my aunt found this laying around with some string receipts from the early 70s. There are no brandings we could find on the outside. https://picasaweb.google.com/cptncooldown/Mandolin ...we're looking for an estimated value, any help is appreciated!

It looks like one of those mandolins that Harmony or other big factories would sell as a lot -- like 6 of $20 or something-- to wholesalers lik4e Grossmans or Targ & Dinner. Prob pressed, likely plywood with painted on "binding". Budget for sure but could be fun to play around with. My gut says around 1940s or so.

Looks like a Harmony, Airline, Silvertone or other mass produced American mandolin made anywhere from the 1920s thru the 1970s, often found in the Sears or Montgomery Wards catalog. They also often carried store labels, or no label at all. Probably pressed plywood as noted above; nevertheless, some of these instruments had a loud, booming tone and were fun to play.

Not terribly valuable. I see them on Ebay a lot, usually selling for around $100 to $150 or so, depending on condition.
