Default Mandolin Symposium videos 2012 Update

I labeled the Mike Marshall Ensemble as Choro. That has now been fixed, and I uploaded the Choro Ensemble lead by Almir Cortes. If any one knows the names of the three kids in the Trio Ensemble, or tune names, I will update those videos.

The tune that Almir's choro ensemble played was "Escovado" by Ernesto Nazareth.

The kid's Trio played a Mike Marshall tune, Egypt. Marla's Irish ensemble played The Parting (Cyril O'Donoghue) and Gneevgullia.
Donny's jazz ensemble played Freight Trane (Tommy Flanagan). Dawg's ensemble played his tunes Strang Thang and Twin Town.
Caterina's classical ensemble played Calace's Bolero. Mike Marshall's ensemble played a tune that they composed collectively. The All-Symposium Orchestra played a medley, arranged by Mike Marshall, which included Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, Tripping up the Stairs, Lost Girl, Dawg's Waltz, Santa Morena, It Don't Mean a Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing, and Roanoke. The concert concluded with David Grisman's heartfelt arrangement of Bill Monroe's My Last Days on Earth.

Also, Eric Thompson's Old Time ensemble played "Mandolin King Rag".

Thanks, John, these are great! Did you by chance also record the 2 full orchestra numbers? Would love to hear how they turned out from the audience perspective.

Just my opinion but even if he did, it wouldn't do it justice. Hearing the full orchestra live is impossible to recreate. I skipped the full orchestra, sat back and enjoyed the marshal medley which IMHO was a masterpiece.
