    Default Old tunes (slightly rocky)!

A clip of our little folkyish/rockyish combo.....
The first tune is a really old French tune - anyone know the name? (picked it up at a renaissance dance class).
The second is that old Belgian chestnut, The Bear Dance!

Pete, it's a Pavane published by Arbeau in his "Orchesographie" circa 1588.

Gotta get out my Steleye Span albums. Or my Malicorne albums. Great stuff.

I know the first tune as "Belle qui tiens ma vie" from Allan Alexander's book "Music for Medieval Faires". I like your rock version. This is an unplugged version I recorded on the sunniest October day I can remember - while I'm sitting here watching a thunderstorm in mid-July!

Yes! That's the one. Could not bring the title of the pavane to mind.
