Currently I live in Houston but may find myself moving back to Crockett in the next 2-3 months but that's still a drive from Tyler.

Crockett is doable. I play a little bit of mandolin, and can play some banjo, but mostly play guitar these days. If you do make it up this way send me a message.

I live in Nacogdoches. There's a great jam on Saturday afternoons at The General Mercantile / Old Time String Shop. The shop is located on the downtown square, next door to the fire station. It begins between 2 - 3 and lasts until 5 - 6.

I live in Bullard I lived in Tyler/Bullard since 1996 I am moving to Cypress. TX in 2 weeks.
