    Default Wappen body shape

    Does anyone have a 'wappen' shape mandolin? I am looking to build one in that shape and can't find a good picture of high enough quality or taken straight on in order to draw up a plan from. If anyone could provide just such a picture, I'd be most grateful.

    This is a bass guitar, but the mandolins I've seen the body was different only in scale, and in having a floating bridge.

    That oval hole is beautiful. Love the wrapover armrest. How do they sound?
