    Default Fletcher Brock F5

Here is a newly completed Fletcher Brock F5. This is a really nice mandolin, it sounds fantastic and is absolutely beautiful. I love the new reddish burst that Fletcher has been using lately.

Yeah. Exactly my thoughts. Really, really super clean work. Very tasty indeed. Lovely finish too.

Interesting use of what looks like wood for the faux frets where the fingerboard has been scooped.

Just breathtaking, as always. Someday I'd love to have one of his F5s to keep my OM company. Alas, unless I win the lottery, I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Chip, wasn't Fletch going to make you an OM sometime this year? Are you still getting one?

Fantastic, Chip! Hope yours gets done soon. I'm starting to play mine more and more with a couple of bands here in Colorado. It's so easy to make it sound like I know what I'm doing! Hope to see you at the Targhee fest this year. Unfortunately, I had to pull out of the camp -- again -- but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for next year!
