I can crack the top 100 in a week if I stay on this pace. It's funny, I've gone through periods of inactivity and high activity over the last 5 1/2 years. I'm always concerned whether or not I am adding something to the community but have become more comfortable in the last few months feeling like I do have wisdom to offer. I think I'm becoming delusional, if you look at my posts historically they're all fluff and common sense that anybody could figure out. The bottom line is that staying on the Cafe keeps me motivated and stimulates my enthusiasm for playing mandolin. It's a selfish motivation but it works. Top 100 here I come!

Hey, PJ - thanks for keeping the thread alive, whether you meant to or not.
When you see Journeybear thanking someone for a thread drift and have to do a double take.

Hey! I resemble that remark! But you may have missed a subtle bit of sarcasm ... or not ... Besides, lord knows I have done a fair amount of veering over the years. Straight lines are hard to maintain, and many times outside factors may have bearing on the subject at hand. Which reminds me - there was this one time ...

Wow, looks like I'm 109th. Definitely have slowed my posts to a couple a year since starting grad school 2 years ago. Guess I will have to make up this summer. Of course, what's the point when newbees like Ed G. are posting sub-light speed Dang Buckeyes!

<sorry, we're not going to discuss this individual. period.>
    * You can remember when posting to CoMando was preferable to the MC Forum (it's why my date doesn't read 2002. I lurked at the MCafe--mainly for news and classifieds--but actively particpated in CoMando)
    * You've lost count of how many instruments you've sold or bought through the MC classifieds
    * The days when YouTube links did not exist
    * The MC Homer and Jethro page (does it still exist?)
    * When you remember the wee beginnings of the mandolin haiku thread.

You remember the double d chord from the Pub (or remember the Pub).
