    Default Brand New Kentucky

    I got my brand new Kentucky KM-1500 with Varnish finish from The Mandolin Store tuesday evening. This is a great mandolin and Im very happy, im not going to go on gushing, I'll just say everything I've heard about this model is true and Im glad I pulled the trigger on it. And Yes it sounds wonderful Now...Pictures!

    I played one of the new varnished 1000's last weekend and I really liked it. Looks like you got a good one. enjoy it.

    Was it discounted because of that small seam separation on the treble side of the tailpiece?

    Just when I was getting content with my KM-1000, they have to start selling varnish versions. Thanks a lot Kentucky.

    The reflection of your green yard on the back of the mandolin is truly amazing! Shows how clear the finish truly is.

    Thanks I really love it, so glad I went with the varnish finish and a wonderful rich voice as well.
