The results of these "tests" are so subjective. Everybody has different tastes. But, I think the big mistake that many people make here is the assumption that Blue Chip charges $35 for a pick because they think it is "35 times better" than a $1 pick. They charge $35 because the material is ridiculously expensive compared to celluloid, which is what I believe the Golden Gate is made of. A sheet of 12" x 12" x 1/16" is over $1300. One thing I think is safe to say is that the Blue Chip will probably last 35 times longer than celluloid. They have the smoothest edge of any pick I have ever used and they are VERY hard to wear down.
