Default Calton F case for an A mandolin?

I have an older Calton case that I got for my standard F style mandolin. Will it work for my A mandolin? I can tell that the body fits, obviously, but how do I tell if it's pressing on the top when I close it or if it's holding the neck in place properly, etc.?

    Thanks!

I use F-model Caltons for all my A-styles. It works just fine.

A5 neck is same length as F5, padding is forgiving, I'd say you are good to go.
