    Hello,
    Just a couple of pics of a flatback I picked up this week for £18.
    Covered in old crap which I stripped off and am just finishing in Danish oil.
    Some nice'ish birch on the back
    What would you advise for strings for this?

    very pretty - "calace" dogal RW92 "dolce" (light) strings, i'd say

    complimenti for the video - very hot tune - great picking

    Looks like an unnamed GDR period German instrument?
