Default Mandoline and a lot of fun at a ren fair!

    Hi all!
I had worked for several months on my Johnson mandolin that I fixed up for ren fairs, and we had a ren fair over Memorial Day. I had a blast, saw a real lute and a Hurly Burly (hand made by the Lutist there!) and generally had a fantastic time! It was a nice hot day, so I had a lot of fun keeping the little darling in tune, but played songs like "Beauty in Tears" as much as I wanted to!
Sigh! Can hardly wait for the Celtic fair in September!

Looks like a good time! If you liked the hurdy gurdy (I think that's what you mean), Look for Hardanger Fiddles and Nyckelharpas.

I enjoy the Ren Faires. There's so much to see and hear.
