Doc Watson passed away yesterday. He was a local legend, so I went by his statue in downtown Boone today to pay my respects. Apparently a lot of people had the same idea! It was hard to get a picture because there was almost constantly someone standing or sitting with him, talking to him, placing flowers, and crying a little. He sure will be missed around here.
