Yesterday at a fantastic jam session, a fiddle player played a tune he said was by Kenny Baker called Coal Mine something in D minor. Can you tell me the actual name of the tune? I would love to learn it. Thanks.

No responses so far. Do I need to have more information? Is there a website that might list Kenny Baker tunes? I tried Googling it but nothing listed his tunes.

Hi FrDNicholas. I think I have every Kenny Baker album and the tune Coal Mine (or related) isn't on any of them. Let us know if you find it. Good luck.
1999 Buckeye #18 (Bucky)
1987 Flatiron Festival A blackface (Edgar)
198x Flatiron pancake mandola (no name)
Thanks for your response. Maybe that's why no one else responded. I'll try and contact the fiddle player and see if he meant another fiddle player. Thanks again.

Yah, I'm up on most Baker tunes, does not ring a bell. Maybe Moss knows it.
And whilst we're at it, how about the Baker number Sushi? What recording might that be on?
might be stone coal - alternate tuning on the mandolin...
