This has come up for sale in my area, 150 bucks! But i am not sure what it is. Anyone?

Might be a 10-string bandurria. Most modern ones are 12-string (six courses), but the instrument has evolved from an earlier 10-string configuration. Might also be a 10-string mandolin (with a low C course), although the scale length looks short for that, or the fretboard wide. From the two missing bridge pins, I presume it's currently strung up as an 8-string.

the guy says that there is no name and no label that he can find. Well, was just about to paste the ad in and it looks like the listing has expired, oh well, thanks for your help. if it shows back up i will just go look at it!!

I agree it doesn't look old -- I wasn't suggesting the actual instrument was a proto-bandurria, but that it may be a modern recreation of an older style of bandurria.

it isn't a bandurria since these traditionally have a fixed bridge with a tailpiece too. and no truss rod... Scale lengths are around 29 cm, bandolas and filipino bandurias are tuned one tone lower around 31-32 cm..... depending of the scale length and course arrangement of your instrument it might be closer to some kind of a much more modern mandolin alike as those made as makers such as Buchanan.
