80's Alvarez Artist model mandolins

I pulled a hair trigger on a mandolin I know very little about. I have a basic working knowledge of Japanese mandolins of the 70's and 80's, the better ones labeled Ibanez, Alvarez, Aria Pro II and some Pencos. This mandolin, in my best guesstimation is a early 80's handmade Artist series mandolin that was endorsed at the time by Babara Mandrell. I can find very little info on this particular instrument. Seems to be alot of info on the 70's models that emulate the bad Orange Laquer Gibsons of that era, but not on these slightly newer Yairi era models..Anyone have good info or scanned brochures on these? (See the bad picture)
