If you know Kelly or know of him, you already know that he is a superb mandolin and guitar player. You couldn't meet a friendlier, nicer, funnier person than Kelly.

A benefit is being organized to raise money to help Kelly Lancaster and his sister Carrie Lancaster Fuller. Kelly and Carrie are both battling cancer.

The event will be at Millard's Crossing, in Nacogdoches TX, on Sunday May 27th from 5:00 to 9:00. Millard's Crossing is located at 6020 North Street, Nacogdoches TX.

Boiled crawfish, chicken spaghetti, baked goods, beverages, etc. will be sold, with all of the proceeds going to Kelly and Carrie.

There will also be an auction of artwork (by some well known artists), probably some musical instruments and who knows what else. All of the proceeds from the auction will also be given to Kelly and Carrie.

Before the auction there will be performances of old time, bluegrass and related music. After the auction a jazz group will perform. If Kelly is feeling well enough to attend, he will undoubtedly be sitting in with some musicians playing.

If you are unable to attend but would like to make a donation, of either money or something for the auction, please contact: Steve Hartz at (936) 564-8692.
