I know this is not quite the right place for this. My daughter goes to school in Ohio and I (living in southern NY (a little north of New York City) normally take Rte 80 thru PA to get there. A friend mentioned that she goes a slightly more northern route thru Binghamton and on Rte 86 to Rte 90. I will be driving straight but have to stop for short times. Is there anything of mandolin or acoustic music or vintage instruments or flea markets etc along that way that would not take me too far off the interstate.

Too bad I didn't have all the time in the world otherwise i would veer up to Bernunzio's in Rochester and visit some folks in that area.

I will be leaving Friday morning so figured why not ask here for something that might make the trip a little more bearable.
