    Default Left Hand: Where First Finger Connects to Palm

    According to The Experts, should the part of the hand where the first finger connects to the palm be touching the neck of the mandolin? If so, with how much pressure?

    I tend to want to use that spot as a fulcrum on my pull offs. Is that a no no?
