    Default Ebay: Weber Yellowstone Octave Mandolin, used

    Emailed the seller and the scale is 22" and I'm looking for a short scale. Looks nice, though.

    Sweet indeed. I actually prefer the longer scale as I feel you get more power in the bass, which is part of the reason to go for an octave. Does take a little getting used to, though, if you don't play the longer-scaled stuff.
