Default 10 Years for Martha White & Rhonda Vincent

Rhonda Vincent & The Rage made their 10th appearance at the National Cornbread Festival on Sunday,
April 29, 2012. This marks their 11th year with Martha White as a sponsor, and to tour in the tradition of
Flatt & Scruggs in the Martha White Bluegrass Express.

This was also the 6th WIN for Rhonda in the Celebrity Cornbread Cook-Off, where she once again prepared
    a delicious creation she's call's "Rhonda's Ragin' Cornbread" to win the cook-off.

All proceeds from the event go to the Marion County Children's Fund.
Rhonda added a special touch to this year; when she won the bid on a TV in
the cornbread auction, and donated the set to a Murfreesboro family who recently lost their home in a fire.

She is not only a great ambassador as the Queen of Bluegrass Music, but also the Queen of Kindness!

This week begins a new Martha White campaign for Rhonda Vincent & The Rage. They will host a drawing
at each show this summer for an Official Martha White Cast Iron Skillet, (while quantities last.)

This is a mandolin discussion forum! Not free advertising for rhonda vincent.

I'm glad to see the charity work, but I'm tired of seeing Rhonda Vincent ads on this forum.

Keep in mind, I'm not against Rhonda or her mandolin playing, it's just that these posts have nothing to do with the mandolin. It's just the management using the Cafe Forum as a vehicle for advertising.

Rhonda Vincent fans think differently. Nice to hear what she is up to. Plus she is a pretty lady, her music is good, and her band is good and funny too. And.... I looked up MW Cornbread and found at least two recipes to try next week. I thought they only had Minnie Pearl's self-rising flour.

I love Rhonda Vincent..excellent entertainer, musician etc. But the "Management" really does her no favors with these promotions in my opinion. I doubt she knows much about it, by the way.
I would highly recommend anyone who likes driving bluegrass to see her live at some point. And I have no connection to her whatever.

There are more effective ways to find out what she's up to, if that is truly important to you. I assume she has a website, for starters. Sporadic postings on a site like this are a pretty poor way to "hear what she is up to". Speading the same posting all around the internet is spam, imho.

I really do enjoy her playing but this is how I feel about the post from UM too.

It would be nice if Rhonda could participate and contribute to mandolin discussions instead of just using this forum for it's publicity value. Pretty tacky!

I am a big fan and supporter of Rhonda Vincent, but I pretty well keep up on her Web Site and Message Board, both of which are easily available.

For the above reasons, I think Upper Management should refrain from posting on this Mandolin Board unless it is mandolin related or connected.

Rhonda Vincent IS Upper Management Music. She says so in an interview on Youtube.
I like her music, but would appreciate REAL contributions to the forum from her.

If she is Upper Management Music, she could also stop referring to herself in the third person.

I checked it out and you're right. UMM is Rhonda's company. That makes me even more angry. She should not be using this forum to advertise.

I feel this "Ad" reflects badly on the Artist. Very tacky, indeed!!!

I think if you check carefully, you will find that Rhonda's husband, Herb, pretty well runs and controls Upper Management, and he is probably the one doing the posting. He is also probably involved in some other music activity in additon to Rhonda.

Check them out. That's 22 posts that have nothing to do with mandolin discussion.

I really like Rhonda's music, and she comes across as a very genuine and approachable person. I guess I feel a little sad when I see these posts. The posts could almost be coming from a computer.
