Looks and sounds great, Keith! How deep is that body? Looks huge. What's the scale length? I really like the dark binding, too. Never been a fan of white/ivory color binding. Hope the finger is healing well. You have an endpin jack, what kind of p'up? Or is it just there to make adding one easier? Thoughtful touch, for sure.

Gorgeous, Keith! The tailpiece is a nice touch. You're playing really well, finger healing and all!

It has a dual K&K pickups, the scale length is 22 1/2" and body depth is 3 3/8" and body with is 13 1/4". I know it looks big but in reality its smaller than some tenor guitars. The nut width is 1 5/16" and the bridge height is only .800" A real player and when people stand in front of it and want to hear it the first comment is "wow, it's pretty loud".

The sun finally came out so I could get some pictures that show the true color. As far as zero fret goes that horse has been beat many times on these forums. I'll just call it "my rationale".

No I just meant that to start that topic it would be a discussion with everybody stating their opinion and not about the instrument itself. It would be like me saying I used a Tonerite on it

No worries Keith - I really meant to ask if Chris Thile used a capo on this instrument would it define the true sound of bluegrass?
