Disney movie songs on Mando
So my little brother asked me to learn songs from Disney movies to play for him. Being the sucker of an older brother and nostalgic sort of fan of Disney movies, I decided to go for it.
I started with Toy Story's You've Got A Friend In Me by Randy Newman. I got through the intro today before I had to call it a day.
If anybody already has some Disney songs already tabbed out for the mando or just feel like tabbing one out now, it would be awesome if you would share!!
Here is what I have for You've Got A Friend In Me:
-----|-----------1-2-3------------------- ----------------------------|--
-----|------1-6------2-6-3-9-8-6-1-0-- ----------------------------|--
-----|----5-------------5-5-7-6-5-5-4-6 ----5~-4~-3~-4~-------|--
-----|--3--------------------------------10---------------------------|--

A few years ago, the band I'm in worked up " I Want To Be Like You" with a jugband feel to it.

"When You Wish Upon A Star" comes to mind - it sounds kind of Italian anyway. "A Whole New World" would work well too.

"Bella Notte", from "The Lady And The Tramp" is beautiful on mandolin (as it should be, given that it is a pastiche Italian mandolin tune written by Peggy Lee).

Zippity Doo Dah! It's from Disney's Song of the South. I haven't seen tab for it, but llike most of these it is great for working out by ear.
