Default Resonator Octave Mandolin or Resophonic 8-String Tenor Guitar

At the end of October 2011 I commissioned a Resonator Octave Mandolin. My goal, was to have a sweet sounding instrument that I could play chords for accompaniment, as well as switch to melody and still be heard in the session, whilst playing with the many fiddles, set of pipes, and occasional banjo. (This is meant to be modeled after a gold top Les Paul color scheme. )

This should be a fun instrument, been wanting one for a while!
