    Default My NICE mandolin?

So I'm playing my Phoenix Jazz the last few days to try to stay in touch with it and it's opened back up real nice. I'm playing outside in the sun, and my 10-yr old boy walks up to me and says, "Hey Dad, why aren't you playing your NICE mandolin???".

The boy either has great taste, is really picky, or is a budding Rigel enthusiast!

Ya just gotta love kids for the silly things they come up with. You never know what they're going to say.

Not exactly in the same vein, but our 16 month old grandson likes to "help" me play the mandolin. I finger chords and he strums.
For wooden musical fun that doesn't involve strumming, check out:

I recently began playing my Phoenix Jazz on a dual pre-amp that plays into a tube amp. Amazing how identical sounding are the Jazz's two channels.

    Lee,

Can you tell me more about your set-up? I'd like some examples!
