    Default ready for fretboard

i 've been working about 10 months on a custom mandolin for a friend and am almost ready to attach the fretboard...all is in the white and the friend wants to put the finish on himself...the body is to Loar specs but the rim is 1 an 3/4 wide instead of the normal 1 an 3/8....my friend supplied his own peghead and fretboard inlay...the binding is tortise with white inserts...back and sides are silver maple and top is red spruce...for the first time i have used bone for the points and i may be hooked for in the future...this build has been a real learning experience and very enjoyable...lots of new things were tried and am pleased with the outcome....i hope the next few mandos will be easier with the new changes....................keith
