    Very nice Pete!
Nice playing, and your pick-ups sound great!

I agree. Both the player and the equipment do the job well. Foot tapping stuff!

Sitting here looking at the rain, jumping up every time I hear a diesel, or see something red outside the window. Because, yes, that's MY 'Bird. (Ha!). I know it's been loaded on to the vehicle at Medway, because Pete sent me the tracking number. Pete has been formidable - he listened to what I wanted, (rhythm sounds and lead boost) wound and installed this pickup and the three way switch, and made it work. Check out the pearloid scratch plate too! Truly a Soundfarmer. Wait....is that a diesel.....? Nah. I'll post again when I've played it.

    Pete,
    Where are you exactly?
I've just relocated from California to Cambridge.

Thanks Pete! Sounds good! I take it this is a dual coil 'bird replacement p'up? I have your single coil item which was a huge improvement over the stock item. It's raining out here on the steppes of Eastern Washington, too.

Hi Mandobart....the pickup is a tapped single coil rather than a dual coil humbucker....glad you`re happy with your alternative pickup.
    Cheers,Pete

    Hi Pete,
very nice to see you personally this way... just showed my 9year old daughter "This is the man who built my Mandolin" and she said "wow, he's playing very good himself!"... so we both really did enjoy your playing and the pickup...
by the way... if Epiphone stops building Mandobirds - will you continue the series?
    All the best,
    Tom
