What a nice coincidence! I have recently started a bi-monthly bluegrass jam in Rome (going on 2 months now, still recruiting interested regulars!). In short, we meet every other Tuesday night at 7pm in the Buena Vista Building (upstairs, as downstairs is currently being renovated). For more details, hit up our facebook group or PM me!

I've really just found that this is the easiest way to communicate with everyone these days. Kinda sad how we rely on Facebook

Armuchee bluegrass festival is Laborday weekend and Memorial Day weekend. It's a first rate festival with lots of jamming.

That's no problem Turnip, we're supportive of all skill-levels, and at this particular time we are mainly focusing on lots of simple 2 and 3 chord songs and such. As far as Facebook, we are trying to work out another way to communicate, we're just not sure how yet...most likely a list-serv or something. For now I don't even think you need to have a Facebook account to view the group page, but I'm not positive. You are always welcome to come by. I can almost guarantee you'll learn something new and have fun doing so! We meet every other Tuesday (next is the 11th) at the Buena Vista building, 538 Broad Street, Rome, GA, at 7pm.

We will! We have changed it technically to be the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays each month, so tomorrow (the 25th) does fall under that category

Another friendly bump for our Rome bluegrass jam, since I've had quite a few PMs about it.

Every other Tuesday (we will meet tomorrow, 5/1/12)
    7PM
538 Broad Street, Rome, GA, 30165 (big building on the corner with lots of windows, a few doors down left from the historic Desoto theatre).

Thanks and hope to see new faces sometime!
