Thread: Early DGQ snippet

    Default Early DGQ snippet

There was a snippet of a classical tune played by DG at the beginning of a tune on one of the early DGQ records. Does anyone know what is is? It was an arpegiated piece in G major(I think). Many Thanks...Dave

The one that comes to mind is Beethoven's Sonatina in C Dur, introing a tune on Quintet 80, name escapes me now.

Picked the little classical ditty today...forgot how the dang thing went! Then, went on to Gator Strut, Chief Sitting In The Rain, Ybor City, you get the idea. So much music, so little time.

I forgot I used to know that . . . IIRC, you can use it as a sort of "stealth" intro to Raw Hide, which is fun to do every now and then. You pick the Beethovan selection and end it on Am chord and let it ring a little before the opening C arpeggio for Raw Hide.
