    Default Trying to play again.

Ok. So here it is. After 5 weeks of not so much as being able to pick up mandolin or guitar. I am finally allowed to hold and play on my lap. Wow. My surgery took its toll on my abilities but I thought I would post a song just for my own encouragement . My voice is still not there yet either lol...Here it is. Long way to recover but I will get there
I was told my mandolin playing was terrible. So, I played my guitar for them and all of the sudden they were happy to hear my mandolin again!

You moved around so much with that neck brace on I was getting nervous. lol. Playing with numb fingers is tough, I know from a pinched neck nerve that has since healed itself. Bad desk chair and poor posture. Good job and keep getting better!

Hang in there; it just takes some time, but it will all come back.

Your video is an inspiring tribute to the instrument you play.

Well, I thought at least you could do with some buddies to back you up on this. Excellent playing and singing, I'm just sorry my backup isn't better:
