    Default The long hill waltz - anyone have the abc?

    Hi I am a newbie to mandolin and this forum and I was hoping someone may recognise this tune and have an alternative name or the ABC for it. I posted a copy of the tune here as an mp3 file. www.ni-webistes.com/longhill.mp3
    Can anyone help, if so many thanks Mike

    Nice tune. The ABC is something like this:

    X:1
    T:The Long Hill Waltz
    M:3/4
    L:1/8
    K:Daeo
    AF | D2 DE FG | EC A,4 | (3FED AG AB | A4 BA | GA BG AB | AF D2 E2 | G,A, CD EF | D4 :||
    A2 | d2 dc Ac | de f2 gf | ed c2 de | A4 A2 | d2 dc Ac | de f2 gf | ed c2 de | d4 cd| D2 DE FG | A2 d2 de | dc A2 GA | c4 cc | DE FG AD | G,A, CD EF | D4 DC | D4 :||

    I wrote it out in D minor/aeolian, but they seem to be playing in E flat minor on the MP3 (or maybe my mandolin needs its annual tuning?).
