Jimmie Rodgers recorded this song on Febuary 14th, 1928. Decca Records wanted to put out a Jimmie Rodgers tribute album and their best exponent of Jimmie's music was Bill Monroe. Monroe recorded an album of Rodgers songs, but Decca chose not to release the project.
