That's a seriously nice looking instrument right there.
Saw that one. A good price but no description up yet. If it doesn't have any issues seems like a good price on a very rare one. For posterity sake it should be said that it is listed at $7500.

Well, I asked for info ... that's a serious step down in price from the last one they had, and apart from a missing pickguard I don't see any glaring issues, on a cursory inspection. Maybe it's refinished? Of course my request was less "I want to buy this!" and more "Are you taking any trade offers on this?" so we'll see if I get a reply. They generally don't do trades on consignment instruments.

I saw this when it first went up on the Mandolin Brothers website, and I also have been earnestly hoping somebody would buy it soon and remove the temptation. I agree that price is on the low side (particularly for Mandolin Brothers), and I'd be interested to know if it was just a motivated seller or if there was some issue.
