Nice! Congrats and enjoy. That's a good sounding mandolin, for sure!

Great arrangement on the tune, also a fine sounding mandolin. What mic are you using?
Lovely playing & killer arrangement! Wonderful Brentrup goes without saying

Nicely done Stephen! Love the lengthed ascending scale/arpeggio part that popped in there. That is a killer sounding mandolin.

Hi Stephen...sounds great! That's a nice looking Brentrup. What is the serial number?
I would love to document it on the Brentrup Registry if it isn't already listed there.

Wow, thanks for your comments everyone! Glad you enjoyed this. Angeline has been the start of my practice routine for a number of years now so it's pretty near and dear to my heart.. set the metronome on 110 and bang away for a few minutes to get the fingers warmed up.
Signal chain is Red Type B w/ R8 capsule, Hamptone JFET-2 kit preamp, Lynx aurora A/D. No EQ, compression, or reverb on the audio track, just a light hit with a limiter to bring the level up. This was the first time I've tried syncing external audio with video which was a bit of a chore. However (no disrespect to the other Brentrup owners out there) there weren't many available resources where you could really "hear" the tone of Brentrups- most of the other Youtube stuff seems to be recorded with webcams etc.
