They're out of print and the publishing companies and involved parties can't seem to get any more made.

At one time, Elderly's had copies of at least one of his CD's for sale on their website.

Nevermind, I just checked their website, and no go.

I think Dave's music is a perfect candidate for Acoustic Oasis.

I suspect Larry is going to be getting many requests in PM. You're a good man, Charlie Brown. Since it's out of publication and obviously no one is trying to make any money off of it, wouldn't this be a good candidate for mp3 posting on the web somewhere? I think Dave's music should be enjoyed.

Thanks for the comments Greg. You're right about the emails — 3 so far. I'm not trying to make any money with these. I have always been a big fan of Dave's music and would love to spread the joy to those who haven't heard his playing. However, I need to be careful as I don't want to ruffle any feathers here. I have either given them away or traded for other recordings. I'm pretty sure Miss Sunny is still trying to get "Art In America" released again on CD and as long as I don't hear any complaints from her, I'll be glad to copy them when I can.

Although most of Dave's music is "out of print," there are copies out there. A year or two ago I posted a list everything that I knew of that he recorded -- you might find the list by searching for my previous posts. I can post the list again if anyone is interested. I would be happy to exchange recordings with people, assuming we are not violating any copyright laws.... Dave recorded three tapes (remember tapes?) with the Texas Rangers, the band that he took to Japan in the 1980s. I have two of the tapes, but not "Play the Hits." If anyone has that tape or a digital version of it I would be interested in getting a copy.
