StewMac vs. LMI kits

Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts regarding the StewMac and LMI F-style kits. The StewMac is appreciably more expensive and I was curious as to why.

I've built 5 guitars from scratch and was curious to try a mandolin.

The LMI kit is not really a kit at all. They just bundle everything you needed for a scratch build and give a package price on it. The StewMac kit is serviced. The plates carved, neck cut, sides bent, blocks cut, etc...
