Default Looking for a Mandolin Hat

    Hey Everyone,

I was at a restaurant a few nights ago, and could have sworn I saw a guy in the kitchen wearing a hat that looked like someone sitting on a stool with a mandolin on their knee, playing music under the moon. Am I making this up? Has anyone seen this hat? I can't find it anywhere...

Thanks if you can provide any help.
    Chris

I think the grateful dead have a emblem like that . though i believe it is a skeletal jester playing a lute

This is what you mean, though I don't think it's what he means, if you know what I mean.

Go back to the restaurant and ask about the cap. Maybe they can point you to a source.

Oh no, no, no - Much too obvious! Seek the answer from the source? Oh, come on, now!

You have to be careful about asking a man about his hat. Could be a touchy subject.

As Lyle Lovett once said, "You can have my girl but don't touch my hat". But Lyle's from Texas, where hats can be icons.

I was out of town when I saw it, otherwise I would just go back and ask. That hat was great, but now that I've seen the picture above...well...maybe a cocker spaniel hat might just do the trick...

Didn't Bill Bussman make one, a hat, out of an old Bowl back?

I was told my mandolin playing was terrible. So, I played my guitar for them and all of the sudden they were happy to hear my mandolin again!

Probably... Chances are the list of things Bill hasn't made would be shorter than the list of things he has.
Hereby & forthwith, any instrument with an odd number of strings shall be considered broken. With regard to mix levels, usually the best approach is treating the mandolin the same as a cowbell.

You might have to settle for you, sitting under the moon, playing a mandolin, wearing a Mandolin Cafe Ball Cap, at least for the time being.
