Any input on this electric guitar/mandolin kit ?

I am about completing my tenor ukulele build (almost from scratch), right now in the finishing phase. I start looking for another build and found this one:

Has anyone built this kit ? I like to hear your inputs on this.
The part that concerns me is the scale lenght of the mandolin is a little less than 12".

well the maple necks are sure nice. love that look myself. not much building there though, everything is done. be an afternoon type project

Looks along the lines of a Saga kit. If the price doesn't go too high, it would be a fun project. You could go wild on a paint job.

The only attractive parts about this kit are:
1) price (hopefully does not go too high)
2) both mandolin and guitar available at the player's finger tips
I do realize there is not much to build here, more like an assembly type of work.
I built my ukulele almost from scratch and have learned a lot, looking to build a mandolin from scratch too and this kit just show up on eBay.
The assembly would take half a day, but the finishing part will certainly take longer.
