    Default Lawrence Smart mandocello

    I just posted a couple of these in another thread but I figured they should be shown in this forum as well.

    Lawrence strung this up a few days ago and I took these photos. I love seeing his instruments come together and it is a real joy to play them when they are this new. As you would imagine, this 'cello sounds as good as it looks!

    The dark coloration is really lovely, as the beauty of the wood still shows through. So often darker colors are obscuring, and it isn't here.

    Really lovely. Someone's going to be very happy.
