" Sing to the Lord, bless His name;
Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.
Declare His glory among the nations,
His wonders among all peoples." (Psalm 96:2-3,NKJ)
You can get ebony from LMI etc. You will probably have to buy a fingerboard or something. It isn't too hard to draft up a bridge design yourself. I've been making lots of bridges lately, I can help out if you don't want to do it yourself.

Is this the LMI you are talking about?

Here is an ebony bridge blank from Stew Mac.

Those look like flat top guitar blanks?

Yeah that is the LMI. I buy guitar fingerboards and can get about 9 mando bridges out of one. They are thick enough for the job. Perhaps get together a decent order, so as to warrant shipping cost, and then give them a call and ask how much for a piece of ebony like you need.
The bridge blank at Stew Mac may be for a flat top guitar but it is 7/16 thick and the fingerboard blanks at LMI are 5/16 thick. If the bridge blank is long enough at 7" it is bound to be tall enough at 1 7/8". If you need to make multiple bridges the fingerboard is probably the way to go. For one I would probably just get the bridge blank.

Check out Red Henry's web site as he has made bridges for OMs (mine, for example) that are terrific.
