I have a 2010 Kentucky KM-254. This is the same construction as the KM-250 with a different finish colour. Overall I've found it to be a good mandolin. The neck is comfortable and I have no trouble switching between the neck profile on the Kentucky or the neck profile of my Weber. All solid wood construction and the tuners hold well. The finish is reasonably good but came with a number of light scuffs which I presume originate from the factory. (I ordered from a well-respected Cafe sponsor.)

I've spent a fair bit of time on getting the setup right which included a truss-rod adjustment, re-seating a high fret or two, and filling and re-cutting half of the nut slots. With this work and the addition of a McClung armrest I have a comfortable player.
