What type music do you like to play?

Folk, alt country, some bluegrass (I love the beat and energy, I just don't know too many songs), basically anything where you can sit around in a living room (or somewhere) with a couple acoustic guitars, mandolin, and any other acoustic instrument and get into a good jam atmosphere.
I know it is probably kinda vague, but basically I am already playing with some guys where we "rock out" (loud, distorted electric guitars, full drum kit and singer screaming), and I am looking for something different than that.

I'm west of Portland and have been looking for an "Old-Time" music type jam. There must bs something going on somewhere around here. I used to live in Mass. where there was a great bunch of people to jam with. Kind of a long commute now.
