    Default First TG video

I recently picked up this 1953 TG-50 for a very good price on eBay. It's in GDAE tuning (my local music shop sold me some D'addario singles for cheap!)

Still getting used to the long scale (well, relative to a mandolin), but I think this will work. Gives my pinky a nice work out, and it adds some bass to the ensemble.

    Very nice Brad!
That's a beautiful looking and sounding tenor guitar. Nice playing also.
    Congrats!
By the way, what is the scale length, and what gauge strings are you using?

Why thanks, Ed! I believe the scale length is 23" (it could be that it's supposed to be 22 7/8" and I've got to realign the bridge). The string gauges are drawn from the ranges for GDAE shown here:

    I think it's 44 28 16 12.
