    Default Blues, S, & R -- apologies

    Apologies, folks.
While visiting my home (down-east Canada) this summer, I became very ill, so "Blue, Rags, & Stomps" had fallen by the wayside. I'll get back to it as I improve.
On the positive side, I'd rather be miserable at the shore in Prince Edward Island than gazing out my townhouse window in Ottawa.
I'm not sure that an enjoyable evening of playing music with friends, and my 96-year-old mother on pump organ, during my illness (no singing as I have no voice) did me any good in the long run, though it lifted my spirits at the time.
I hope the rest of you are in far better shape.

I appreciate the tunes that you have been posting, but thought that your pace (at least one new tune each week) was at an unsustainable rate. You could probably cut back to once a month, like Pete Martin does with jazz tunes, and make your collection of tunes-to-be-unveiled last over a longer duration. I certainly can't keep up at the tune-a-week rate and I suspect others are the same.

    Thanks, Teak.
Are you learning the tunes? I was posting them more with the idea that hearing them would help familiarize people with different musicians, styles, etc. in order to get more sense of mandolin blues. However, if people are learning tunes from these videos, you're being overloaded. What do others think?
