Could you show more of the instrument, please. That's a Monteleone inspired headstock to me but not a Monte.

I take it there is no label inside? You could use an inspection mirror to see if there is any writing on the underside of the soundboard too.

I don't own the mandolin, so I can't provide additional details. It is owned by singer AJ Lee. However, here is a photo of the entire mandolin.

    Wilkie? Wynn?

You could search the Builders database for makers whose last names start with W.

I think it was made by someone who had help from Ray Dearstone building it. The last name is Webber and I'm not sure of the first name.

Just found this info. Looks like the name may be Ray Webber.

"Webber" not Weber, and the "W" logo looks pretty close to the one in Greg's link. Apparently Ray Webber (with two "b's") works with Dearstone.

It's certainly very Monteleone inspired. The headstock shape & the scroll especially,& it is a Weber (Bruce) tailpiece. Here's a clip of A.J. performing using the Mandolin. She's a very talented young lady,

The sound holes look very similar to the sound holes on this Dearstone from the classifieds and for sale at Fiddlers Green.
