A strong contender for coolest tenor ever?
A very strong contender, it looks like a rockabilly machine.

it IS the coolest tenor ever, save for maybe that black duo jet that was kicking around a couple of years ago...
Definitely the coolest electric tenor I've seen...so far....

Well, there's always the Framus "Peter Kraus" signature model:
(Well, OK, it's electro-acoustic and Peter Kraus couldn't actually play it, but it does look cool -- Peter Kraus was the German Elvis, which is maybe not an accurate description in terms of charisma or singing ability, but fair enough in terms of guitar-playing ability).

You mean this one?
Wasn't the Duo Jet a production model, at least briefly? I seem to remember Neko Case talking about them in that interview about her guitar collection. If so the Fire Jet pips it by virtue of exclusivity in my book... but I'd be happy with either if I happened to have a spare $4K kicking about.
Love the Framus - my first electric tenor was a small body framus archtop that I renecked and put a pickup in, although it wasn't as cool as Martin's example.
Looks like it. See item #6 in this awesome article.
