Hello fellow pickers. I've come across a Reiser Mandolin for sale in my area, and am interested to know more about these. The seller mention that it was made in Maine, leaving me to believe that it was made by Stephanie Reiser of St Albans, ME, who is listed in the builders database, is a member of this forum (though appears to be inactive for the past year or so), and her website is down.

Searching the forum hasn't revealed much, and neither has google.

I currently play an Eastman MD-615, and love it's sound, but I'm looking to take a step up if I can.

The local Reiser I'm talking about is an F4 style. The headstock inlay says "The Reiser" in a nice script, and there is no truss rod cover. I have not taken a look at it yet, so I can't make my own judgement. Waiting for a call back.

Any thoughts or comments? Could this be what I'm looking for?
