    Default Lizard Spit!

I've been using different polishes on my mandolins, guitars & basses for the last 40 or so years; mostly Fender & Martin.

Somebody recommended Lizard Spit to me, telling me it was the best polish he'd ever used. Well, I finally got around to buying a bottle ... WOW!!! My `98 Rattlesnake Mandolin is shining like new!

You gotta try Lizard Spit! You won't be sorry!

Has anyone here had any experience with it on varnished finishes?

I first used Lizard Spit fretboard conditioner and was happy enough with the results to order a bottle of polish. It's the only thing I use when a water dampened soft cloth won't cut the grime. I haven't used any other instrument polish that works better.

It lasts a long, long time. If I remember right, I got it from Elderly.
Just when I got a paddle, they added more water to the creek.

Don't look at Me! I may taste the surrounding atmosphere with my toungue to taste for the presence of ripe bananas now and then, but a mannered reptile such as I doth seldom "spit", as it were.

Inspired by the critical success of Lizard Spit and Gorilla Snot I would draw your attention to my my new line of instrument conditioner, Iguana Bile, for which I am the sole USA and UK licencee. This marvellous product maintains all my Loar, Gilchrist and Dudenbostel F5s in tip-top condition with its subtle and elusive tone-enhancing qualities. Also, as none of the above have yet been stolen I would like to claim theft-resistant qualities for Iguana Bile, at least until lab tests have been concluded.

Oh, is that the date already?
