Default Gibson-made Capital JM-2 mandolin on eBay

Pretty rare mandolin. Haven't seen too many of these pop up on eBay. Gibson made the Capital brand for J.W. Jenkins music in Kansas City, MO only from 1937-38. There was the JM-2 with the round sound hole and the model JM-4 with f-holes.

Cool. This Capital looks a lot like a KM11 from that period. It's hard to see the headstock profile in the ebay photo.

The JM-2 was essentially a re-labeled Cromwell mandolin which was pretty much the same as the Kalamazoos.
